If the Chrome extension isn’t working, ensure that V-DOCS for Chrome was configured properly to allow access to file URLs:   

  1. From your Chrome browser, click the Customize and Control Google Chrome button (the button with 3 vertical dots located by the V-DOCS icon) and select More Tools and then Extensions from the menus that appear.

  2. Chrome’s Extensions page will open, listing any extensions that are installed for your Chrome browser.  Locate the V-DOCS for Chrome extension and click Details.

The V-DOCS for Chrome Details page will open.  Locate the Allow Access to File URLs setting and ensure the toggle is activated – the toggle is blue when activated.
